clusterflock interviews clusterflock
In ‘talking’ with Andrew about his life as a “cellar rat” in the coastal town of San Luis Obispo I was reminded that, at one point, the idea had been floated of flockers interviewing flockers.
We should do it.
I imagine that each flocker who wants to participate will conduct one interview and be interviewed once. But consider the comments on this post an open forum to discuss how we might want to do this.

when this first came up, I thought it might be fun to a couple saturdays a month, or one saturday a month, interview a flocker as a group. meaning, we could either submit questions in advance to a particular flocker and have them answer in a post. or in comments, on a particular saturday, whoever wanted to participate could fire away.
just my thoughts, of course. I look forward to figuring out the best way.
I like that idea as well. One thing that appeals to me about one-on-one interviews is that the interviewer would be able to choose the medium. We could see audio interviews, email interviews, face to face, or even a twitter interview (twitterview).
yes, I like it. that sounds good as well.
perhaps we could do kind of like we did with the first book club, where one of us conducts the initial interview (however the participants choose), and then, once that is posted, we follow up with a discussion / further interview in the comments.
That sounds great. So…who wants to participate?
I am certainly in.
nervous…what about my nerves?
I will if you will.
Rick, that’s usually what I say before I end up in trouble.
Wait…who am I kidding? Most of the time I will even if you won’t.
why don’t we start with me interviewing Andrew. I think he was the first flocker I only knew through his interaction with the site. if that makes any sense.
I want in on this, absolutely. I can record phone interviews, just sayin’.
Sounds good to me.
[...] to be interviewed. [...]
Ever the inconsistent ‘flocker, I just found this. But: I’m in a journalism class right now for which I have to interview someone. It would seem that this would dovetail nicely with that.
So, who wants to submit to the torture of being interviewed by me?
