Police said a 23-year-old man is in stable condition after he pretended that he was falling off a bridge over the Minnesota River, then actually fell off the bridge.

You laugh, but that is exactly how I fell out of a tree in the third grade and woke up three days later. At least this guy had the excuse of inebriation.
who, me laugh?
Ha! Hm…
I don’t think I’ve ever woken up three days later from anything. Curiously, my feeling about that is somewhat wistful.
He’s only pretending to be in stable condition.
Daryl, you’ve given me an inspiration. Maybe I will pretend to be in stable condition — and then will in fact be in stable condition.
I’ll bring the beer and hold the net.
But, Sheila, look what happened to those polo horses in their stables. Stable conditions can be dangerous.
I don’t know if stable condition is all it is cracked up to be. Except if you are in hospital, when it is.
Yes! The polo horses! I read this this morning before my eyes were properly open. It reminds me of supermodels backstage at a fashion show, all eating some nutrient rich item and toppling over, on their spindly legs.
I agree, Lucy. ‘Stable condition’ led me into a world of pain. And it is a delusion, anyway, because we know that all is flux.
Of course, sometimes, all is fluxed up.
clusterflux.
“Stable condition” is where you’re in a coma from the drugs instead of the head trauma or loss of blood, right?
Whatever, so long as they let me get some sleep.
You can’t step into the same river twice when you do it drunk from a 30 foot bridge.
