    I love them and miss them. The three large maples on our property had to be removed, owing to their advanced age and ill health threatening the house.

    It’s fun to stick them on the bridge of your nose.

    And I love it that you call them ‘helicopters’, too, just as we do in the American Midwest.

    Would love to see a weeping willow in your hands. Or a mimosa tree in bloom. They are, like the “helicopters,” not of this world.

    We call them helicopters in Ireland, too! It is because they are like helicopters! Hurrah!
