I love them and miss them. The three large maples on our property had to be removed, owing to their advanced age and ill health threatening the house.
I love those things, and I love your drawing, Wil.
It’s fun to stick them on the bridge of your nose.
And I love it that you call them ‘helicopters’, too, just as we do in the American Midwest.
Would love to see a weeping willow in your hands. Or a mimosa tree in bloom. They are, like the “helicopters,” not of this world.
We call them helicopters in Ireland, too! It is because they are like helicopters! Hurrah!

Dave, I first ‘saw’ your comment as “three large magpies”! I guess I’m thinking about birds. We have a lot of them here.
Ahhh. I love this. And we put them on our foreheads as well as our noses.
