Combustible
Here and there. One of Phil Bebbington’s photographs.
Burned. Burning. Burned. Smoldering.
Ignition.

Isn’t that sense of an abstract painting in the frame lovely?
That Phil is heir to the Abstract Expressionists, and that’s no lie.
Pity. The phone appears to be off the hook.
The sorrow and the pity.
Phil Bebbington rocks the world in my estimation.
“Hey, where’s the fire?”
Such beautiful light and color and texture.
I’m having déjà vu.
Phil, has this been exhibited anywhere I might have crossed it without your website/Flickr? I have this strange impression of having discussed it before I knew you were the artist.
I think a walk through the archives will find that Phil posted this as Christopher Walken before he was official…if I could copy and paste on this iPhone you’d have a link.
Oh…I think it is more than worthy of the dual posting, by the way. One of my favorites of yours, Phil.
Phil, do you have plans for a book? The blurb model seems to work quite well. You may consider this a pre-order.
You are all very kind – very, very kind.
Kelsey, you are right, I did post it a few weeks back I think – not sure if Sheila saw it on that occasion or perhaps got it mixed up with a couple of others taken at the same time – so yes – sorry, double post although not both from me.
Cindy, I have the Blurb software on my computer and have been meaning to play with it as I would love to do a book. I can best be described as slow when it comes to such things. It is on the cards though.
Thanks, Michael. And sorry, Phil (though not very). Yes, when Phil was cloaked in the garb of Christopher Walken, he posted it here on clusterflock. The double posting, of course, is my doing. As I follow Phil’s blog and his Flickr posts, I sometimes forget what has appeared where and when!
Well, I ain’t complaining and I’ll make that 2 sixpences, Sheila!
