oh, for furniture conossieurs, that table at the bottom of that lilongwe post: http://5cense.com/EA/Lilongwe.htm, was really cool, the tripod base is all carved from one piece of wood. Unfortunately it arrived here in pieces.

Yeah, I was hoping to be able to write letters to the goat. I guess I should’ve gotten my own goat and given it to someone in Kenya, probably could’ve gotten 4-6 goats for the price of one through heifer, though it doesn’t come with the goat training.

Some of the villages my better half was working in they were giving them goats, like all the goats you see here: http://5cense.com/EA/Lilongwe.htm (many of them belonging to the old machete-wielding woman). So these can indirectly be part of the clusterflock as well.
