yeah, pool-peeing is right out. As far as beaches go, eh. You almost have to expect it. When a friend objects to joining me in the lake with the line “but fish pee in that water” my standard reply is “that’s the least of your worries.”

I remember when my ex- and his friend drifted over into that shoreline section of Wisconsin’s Lake Mendota where the kidlets swam.

The friend’s wife looked at me knowingly and said. “They’re going in the pee-water.”

I also recall a time when my little brother was about 5 or 6. We were at the lake and he ran up to my mom, “I have to pee!” My mom looked around leaned in, “just pee in the lake.”

In seconds we were sorrounded by the sound of horrified onlookers as my brother stood at the waters edge, swim trunks around his ankles and peed into the lake.
