   You? Metaphorically as well, I am assuming.

   On tornado dive-bombing days, my father would put us in the car and drive us to a crossroads. We’d just sit. The better to “outrun one.” That happened several times. As I got older I think my mother started refusing to go. Or my father just got used to that situation. I missed it.
