For me, it’s the layers of road. The sheer layers of the city. I could look at that for hours. I looked at it for a while. Tourists started to look at me, looking at this hole in the ground. Then they looked at Big Ben. Then they looked at their ice cream. And shuffled along the ridiculously overcrowded footpaths.
