A tech support guy told me yesterday on the phone that I really should download IE because it was the best available browser, the only really proper one. It took me some time to calm down.

Curious, are there any ‘flockers using Google Chrome?

I’m using firefox and safari. When google comes out with chrome for the mac, I’m willing to give it a shot. Are you using it?

My employer forces me to use IE. IE 6.

I spend much of my day crying.

And when he sees you crying, does he pinch you and pull your hair, Michael?

I have IE8, Firefox, and Safari loaded here at work, but Firefox is my default and preferred browser. The back end of our website only cooperates with IE. We use Firefox at home. I won’t switch until I hear a really compelling reason.

I like Chrome at work because the installation didn’t require me to call someone from, thus providing me with an alternative to IE. Otherwise, I use Firefox and Opera for the Apples.
