All Modern Giveaway!
Clusterflock and All Modern have teamed up for a giveaway, and All Modern will be providing the winner of this giveaway any single item priced at or below $100 shipped to you for free.
Clusterflock loves good design. The folks at All Modern have a handle on good modern design, featuring a multitude of items from Herman Miller, Alessi, DwellStudio, Knoll and many more.
I and a few other ‘flockers have spent a great deal of time poring over the site, and they have everything from home goods, kitchen gadgets, bedroom linens, gorgeous clocks, modern furniture and a thousand other things to make your house feel more like your home. There’s an entire section on the site devoted to Eco-friendly items, and the site is so well organized you can find anything you’re looking for in a matter of moments. So head on over there and start day dreaming over the honey pots, geometric birdhouses and french presses.
Everyone should be surrounded by beautiful things that they love, and All Modern has something for everyone.
The contest is a kind of treasure hunt as follows: Simply find the middle names of any three official Clusterflockers, and post them below in the comments. One entry per person, and the winner will have their name drawn from a hat.
Contest closes at Midnight PST, Thursday August 20th.

Clusterflockers cannot enter, sadly. Fair’s fair, folks.
And don’t try simply asking us–we won’t tell. You gotta find ‘em on the site.
Michael Grant Smith
Cindy Marie Sroggins
Ricky Cameron Neece
I mean Cindy Marie Scroggins.
Deron “Danger” Bauman
Amanda “Mae” Meyncke
Kelsey “Belle” Parker
I dunno, Kelsey just seems like the kind of person I could call “Kel Bel”
Andrew Ryan Simone
Deron David Bauman
India Jane Amos
Amanda Mae Meyncke
Michael Grant Smith
Cindy Marie Scroggins
DO I WIN? DO I DO I?
Amanda Mae Meyncke (bit of a gimme)
Cindy Marie Scroggins
Michael Grant Smith
Bonus: Sheila Ryan (she’s not telling)
Might have been better to email the answers in, save people cribbing from the keen people who commented first. Not that I’d do anything like that.
Amanda Mae is my first name. and it isn’t even my real name.
I think that anyone other than me who can find out Cooper Renner’s full birth name deserves to win bonus prizes.
This is fun. Extra points should go to the entrants who first post a correct name, rather than copying from prior posts. Can we give all entrants with 3 correct entries (regardless of whether they copy) a shot in the drawing, then give an additional shot for every first posting of a name? So that, say, both R Ratliff and woubie would be entered 3 times, because each posted three original names that they had to dig for? Does that seem more in the spirit of the game?
I know it, Sheilababy. Along with some aliases. Do I win anything?

took some sloothing, then I realized someone would have already posted em by now… oh well, I had one wrong anyway
Oh, you gotta win something, Cindy. I’ll work on it.
Well, David M, you’re still in the drawing!
I think I know Coop’s full name.
My guess is that Cooper’s middle name is Bryan.
But I re-read what Sheila said and the “full birth name” makes me wonder if ‘Cooper’ and ‘Renner’ are part of his actual birth name. Ever since Sheila went on the lam I’ve had this feeling that she could be sneaky, you know.
Not as sneaky as Cooper, Woubie.
How did I miss all this fun? Dave, Belle would be a great middle name for a dainty girl with two first names. Y’know, like Mary Jo or Claudia Leigh. Unfortunately I am neither dainty nor southern enough to have two first names.
Woubie, you’re a smart one, but you’re not quite right about the middle name. Keep working, son–you’re on the right track.
I might have half a dozen middle names. Anagrammatical ones.
Or no middle name at all. Simply a sobriquet.
Sheila’s middle name is –
Y’all sure know how to make a girl curious.
Mud.
I do not like my middle name and from time to time toy with the notion of changing it.
But things could be worse. I was very nearly named Morag instead of Sheila. My mother talked my dad out of that. I can just imagine how ‘Morag’ would have gone over in my Texas elementary school. My hybrid Connecticut-Texas accent and frank confession that my family were heathens gave me enough grief.
Truth be told, I’m surprised mine hasn’t been guessed. Until a year or so ago, I always introduced myself as “kelsey _____ parker.”
I think I know Kelsey’s, but I don’t want to spoil the game.
For the record I have two middle names. People always look twice at my ID.

We know your middle names, Michael–Not Grant.
nobody’s even attempted mine. I don’t know whether I should feel sad or not.
Or maybe people just are doing a google search “middle name site:clusterflock.org” which would mean their sleuthing is somewhat… well, you could do better.
Okay, Dave, I’m going to guess your middle name–no sleuthing. Is it one of these?
Jonathan
Michael
William
Edward
No’m
Adam

Daniel

yes’m
Dave Christopher Vogt.
David Adam Vogt has a better ring to it, so I’m going with that.
That was a source of much confusion for me when I was in kindergarten. My thought process went something like this:
“I don’t know what Maria H.’s middle name is, but whatever it is it doesn’t make her initials MAR”
C-Scroggz got it. I always assumed that people’s initials started spelling out their names.
woot
Michael not Grant Smith…that’s right.
Cindy, I’m actually surprised you didn’t land on my first middle name when guessing Dave’s (it was unlikely you’d find the second one).
Okay, I’ll try. Is it Robert?
Sorry, no.
Adam
