Now that you’ve mentioned it. You are not alone.

No more alone than in my hearing an echo of Presley’s “Return to Sender” in Bowie’s “TVC 15″.

As a kid I always heard “One Fine Day” by The Chiffons? whenever i flushed the toilet. I’m totally serious.

I loved “Return to Sender” why I was a kid. But perhaps not as much as “It’s Now or Never.” But I don’t know “TVC-15″ well enough to think the connection.

“One Fine Day”–pop paradise. In the flush?

Rick, we must have similar ears.

Brandon, I have my own remembery of “One Fine Day.” If I start, tomorrow, hearing it in the flush of the toilet, I’ll henceforth think of you. ;o)

Brandon, that would have been a brilliant defense for George Harrison to have adopted in the legal kerfuffle over “My Sweet Lord” and “He’s So Fine”.

The flush of the toilet inspired “My Sweet Lord”.

Now I am going to hear “My Sweet Lord” whenever I flush the toilet.
