There seems to be some kind of Corvette gathering here in Galena. I’ve seen a number of them this weekend, and this morning saw three parked alongside one another — black, yellow, black — like a yellowjacket wasp.
I wore my customary (off-)white crewneck T-shirt. I don’t think it was my chestal deportment anyone wanted to see, no? Besides, Jessie, Ed and I had just come from Jason’s Deli, which requires shirts. In fact, the ‘artwork’ hanging above the urinal there is a photo of a doorway with “SHOES AND SHIRT REQUIRED” stenciled on it, and it occurred to me that the variations of ‘No Shoes/No Shirt/No Service” notices wouldn’t need to exist if I were the world’s only frequently shirtless wonder.

Renner, did you wear a shirt when you visited the Hooters parking lot?
