This is fab, Derek.
Memo to self: Must return to Vegas. Had no idea about Golden Nugget shark tank.
Very important: Remember to bring Fisher-Price Kid-Tough Waterproof Camera.
you don’t need waterproof camera as long as annoying people dont splash, lots of cool photo ops i was just over it by the time the camera came out.
The background here is the fender of a car, is that right? I love this, but can’t quite make my eyes get ’round it.
Its the hood of white penske truck. The bug was stuck on our windshield wiper all the way from New Mexico to Missouri. That shadow is me, the reflection of the treeline runs along my forehead (wearing a billed hat) & snippet of the ground lower left.
Derek
I read your dispatch. I am wrecked.
Thanks for reading Rick, I hope you’re wrecked in a good way. “Wrecked,” is probably how I’d describe what Anti-Oedipus did to me, it rewired a lot of my thinking, deconstructed me to rebuild anew.
Those photographs are lusty. Love the romance of the homecoming. Sweet.
In a very good way, yes, Derek. I feel I’ve been re-wired by your post.
It’s quite a journey you’ve been on. And you can read theory!?! Like Sheila, I had no idea about that tank.
my eyes can scan the pages, i don’t know if that means “read”. I minored in philosophy in grad school,–i’m interested in it but not sure i have the head for it. But Deleuze & Guattari are not terribly hard to get really, I’d recommend Anti-Oedipal to those who haven’t checked it out, especially in these trying times of economic “depression”.
