National Punctuation Day

Let's bake some punctuation marks.

It’s National Punctuation Day today.

To celebrate I’ll be curling up with a hot cup of tea and Strunk & White’s The Elements of Style. I’ll also be making bad jokes like, “Is that a colon in your pants, or…”.

    “A pan of periods” is not an appetizing phrase.

    Now, “steamy colon biscuits”, yes.

    I really hope I’m using commas correctly, especially on this special day, and especially since Cindy lives in the same town as me and I’m scared.

    As long as we all mind our apostrophes, I’m fine.

    In honor of the day, I will attempt to fill the toilet bowl with apostrophes before bed.
