The Newspaper Redesigned
It looks an awful lot like a good blog design, don’t it?

I knew you, of all people, would like this.
The paper does not mind that ad space isn’t build into the proposal?
To reverse the above and go paper to blog… I don’t see a lot of blogs with columns continuing horizontally. I’m sure there are plenty, but I don’t know of them.
I’m all for getting what looks like an ad off the front page footer.
Of course it looks better, it has no ads. Try the redesign with the required amount of ad space to support the paper– and then see what you have. It’s a far better — and harder exercise.
