About a week ago I woke up to the overland music from Zelda stuck in my head. This morning there wasn’t a song, I was just whispering “fuck” to myself over and over again.
The “ding dong ding dong ding dong ding dong” bit from Patti Smith’s “Gloria”. Over and over and over and over. Except I wasn’t exactly waking up, as I’d never gone to sleep. But it was just shy of 6:00 am, and you could still see the moon and Venus.
The other day I woke up with that Pink (at least I think it’s Pink) song stuck in my head. It’s obnoxious and goes on about how she’s still a rock star. I could probably find out the name and provide the link via google, but I’m dangerously close to bleeding from my ears as it is.
White Stripes, Seven Nation Army.

I do like Seven Nation Army. I’m goin’ to Wichita….
Want to know what I’m hearing right now, at work?

Well, to be honest, I am seldom a happy camper in the morning.

Mostly it was the line “I wanna do right, but not right now.”
