thoughts, questions, original art and content and links to stuff we think is of interest; a group blog dedicated to pretty much everything. by people you would like to meet at a party; proof of intelligent life on the planet; inhabited by Internet hunter gatherers in the pre-apocalyptic realm; a destination that offers constellations of stimulating links to popular (and not so popular) culture; a group blog dedicated to culture: art, design, music, food, architecture, science, travel, movies, books, typography, politics, etc.; inclusive of geezers!; a delightful mixture of orange words and pictures of well, the insides of a stuffed animal–delightful all the same; the social network I never thought I’d join.

I used to listen to my iPod when I was riding my scooter. I live in Taiwan, for now. I drive very fast, as fast as Old Nancy will go, about 90-95kph.

I stopped listening to music when I had an accident in July. I wasn't driving fast and it wasn't my fault, but it's a unnecessary distraction. A white Mercedes-Benz drove over a double line into my lane and I had nowhere to go but into his hood and bumper. I somersaulted over the hood and ended on my bum. Luckily, I was wearing motorcycle protection, even in 35C heat. I didn't have a scratch on me.

Later, I realized that I was in shock and was acting on automatic after the accident.

I wonder what that thing will look like when the first spill runs thirty feet of concrete across its surface?
