little drummer boy
San Antonio police are investigating the wounding of a man after his elderly father allegedly opened fire when the victim refused to stop drumming. Police said the son, in his 50s, suffered a non-life threatening head wound early Friday while at the home the men share. Police said his 83-year-old father was detained on an aggravated assault charge.
Police said the son, who was grazed in the head, ran down the block to call for help.

So weird to read this since I was just telling my husband about the time when I was 14 when my Dad blew away my older brother’s stereo with his shotgun at 3 am, because he refused to turn it down. I locked my door, like that was good solid protection. Weirdest moment ever. To this day if it comes up in family conversation everyone just looks perplexed. My dad quit long haul driving after that. I assume it was making him insane.
To be fair, my wife threatens to kill me if I even air-drum.
Misty? Do you remember what your brother was playing?
Probably Metallica. If he would have chosen Van Morrison maybe we would have gotten a new baby sister instead.
