That’s a very good point about how difficult it can be to ‘read’ each other in this context that’s stripped away of all body language signifiers. And smells, pheromones, all the physical stuff, the look in the eye, the tone of voice, that carry so much information about the vibe in which something is said. it’s like hearing loss: a person learns to lipread, and to read body language indicators of what might be being said. The animal and tactile is a very important part of human communication. And apparently, to tie this back to the post at hand, it is also a large part of the life of bats. Who find fellatio beneficial.

No worries, Lucy. Sometimes I know when you’re being funny. Sometimes I can see where you’re just trying to further the conversation by being “the devil’s advocate” Sometimes you just sound ticked off. Sometimes you honestly seem like you’re taking a stance “for cause.” I haven’t yet learned how to read them all. Forgive me for taking a moment’s offense. Know this, I appreciate seeing you here and I appreciate not always being able to read you perfectly.

Well, yeah. Sorry, Lucy. Of those you mention, who would? I probably shouldn’t equate cunnilingus with fellatio, though I do. And actually this image looks more like “69″ than fellatio. I can’t imagine either partner wouldn’t find such a moment beneficial. Honestly your mention of small children in the context of my comment distresses and saddens me. I had no such thought in my head. And that thought in my head, now, just makes me feel sick. I’m sorry, I was just trying to be funny.
