I wrote 4 of my songs out there in the freezing cold this past spring, huddled over a tiny little fan heater, and this whole thing began in necessity. I wasn't even going to do the roof at the start. Ross made the windows over the summer, and it's really just turning into something bit by bit, though it has gained momentum now. I think I will get the walls and sills finished, and the overfloor insulation put down before I go to Paris on Saturday, but I don't have the fabric for the roof yet. I've found something online I might just buy, but I want to look around, get the right stuff. I'm going into town tomorrow to pursue a chocolate coloured rug.
