Kim Chinquee

On November 30, Kim Chinquee — writer, teacher and co-editor with Doug Martin of the upcoming Online Writing: the Best of the First Ten Years — will become editor for fiction and creative nonfiction at elimae. (I will continue editing poetry, literary essays and reviews, and interviews.) I am preparing the December issue right now, and Kim’s hand will first be seen in the January 2010 issue. I am quite pleased to begin this new partnership.

Coop? I will hope to offer Ms. Chinquee some things in the months after NaNoWriMo that might be worthy. You know I’m a rank amateur. I look forward to seeing the difference of elimae pre and elimae post. You know I have loved it long. I love it now, I expect to love it forever. What Deron set in motion some years ago and you have continued (and will continue in shared duty) still upsets, confounds and pleases.

Now I’m off, I have 1100 words to crank out this evening, if I’m to maintain my self-imposed goal.
