Lovely subtle coloring. Believe it or not, these are close to the hues of our landlocked landscape here in the upper midwestern US this time of year.

I am pretty much dead center and quite northerly. I live about five miles east of the town of Galena, Illinois.

This time of year, it looks like this around here.
