‘the weirdest thing’

spiral

Dr Tandberg said: “I agree with everyone in the science community that this light was the weirdest thing. I have never seen anything like this ever.

“It may have been anything from an exploding missile whose launch went wrong – to a comet or other celestial object that for some reason has been behaving strangely.

Everybody knows that this is the light trail left when a spacecraft goes into hyperdrive. We just missed fucking E.T. (Okay sorry; this is indeed an interesting picture, although It surely looks like some image fiddling is going on.)

Looks very cool regardless of the reason. My guess is a missle test gone wrong causing the spiral. I have seen some pretty amazing light shows from Vandenburg testing and we are 300 or so miles away.

Oh, and… the military denies any testing so we are looking at other causes?? Maybe that shouldn’t be dismissed quite so handily…

In this image it looks like a projection to me. In some of the other images I’ve seen it looks more real. But yes, I lean toward missile testing or something.

Weirdness going on in Norway today too, by the way.

    Just sayin’.

I wish it had been something more unusual!
