		<description>In this image it looks like a projection to me.  In some of the other images I&#039;ve seen it looks more real.  But yes, I lean toward missile testing or something.</description>

		<description>Looks very cool regardless of the reason. My guess is a missle test gone wrong causing the spiral. I have seen some pretty amazing light shows from Vandenburg testing and we are 300 or so miles away. 

Oh, and... the military denies any testing so we are looking at other causes?? Maybe that shouldn&#039;t be dismissed quite so handily...</description>
