What is the &quot;quote&quot; that says something like &lt;I&gt;there are seven plots and they&#039;ve all been done over and over?&lt;/I&gt; Don&#039;t quote me. But in the &lt;I&gt;formulae&lt;/I&gt; for plot, then it comes down to &quot;can it be done better?&quot; To hope deliver a performance that rises above the din. In the case of Cameron&#039;s directorial performance here, Avatar rises and stands. Maybe it ain&#039;t about the content, maybe it&#039;s about the &lt;I&gt;brush&lt;/I&gt; he has in hand and what he does with it.</description>
