It was pretty good. I spent 2 hours washing the car and watched my team win – football (soccer) Arsenal.
Do I need to check out the American football results or something?
I am a Detroit Lions fan so I don’t care about football either.
I did nothing. It was great.
Not too bad.
I cleaned house working my way from upstairs to downstairs. We let the housekeeper go, money’s tightening up.
I’m thinking having the housekeeper allowed us to lose touch with something elemental in our lives. As I moved through the house, dusting with a swiffer, I touched so many things that gave up a story the moment I touched them. It was nearly overwhelming.
That said, there’s way too much stuff in this house to dust. I yearn for clean surfaces. I started boxing up and throwing away.
Rick, reading about your housekeeper, and about your stuff and your dusting and your housekeeping, reminds me of at least three posts I’ve been intending to post.
Girl? Can you bring one? In the just now?
Not quite in the just now, as I’ve got to dash out the door, but I’ll do it before tomorrow night. Promise.
What happened with American football? Why should it affect our weekends? Mine was quiet and wholesome, despite my ignorance.
