In my mind, Clusterflock and ‘giant leopard moth’ are basically synonymous.

Sheila, did you point out the longevity before? I’m now thinking you did.

A moth flew into my mouth once, Dave.

I hope that doesn’t freak you out.

    Just warning you.

The very first cockroach I ever met was a giant flying cockroach who flew into my face and crashed on my forehead, about 3 minutes after I arrived at the place I lived in for a couple of months on Prytania street in New Orleans. I didn’t even know what it was. New Orleans introduced me to so many new forms of wildlife. I was surprised when I went to New York and realised that not all cockroaches can fly.

Oh, but Lucy, they can fly. They just don’t care to.

If I weren’t so lazy, I’d link to one of Daryl’s earliest posts on cf. It had to do with water bugs.

Yeah, I’ve learned some significant life lessons from the cucaracha.
