This is a wonderful example of a “please have the decency” sign. They always leave me wondering–What the hell happened here to prompt this? It reminds me of the look on John Ritter’s face in Bad Santa when he said, “He’s not going to say ‘fuck stick’ in front of the children, is he?”
I saw a hand-made sign up at the university the other day that read “Please don’t spit in the water fountain.”
