You’ve caught an oddly tender aspect I have always felt about early winter evenings in cities.
This just breaks my heart.
I love how neighborhoody this feels. Sure, it’s Pittsburgh, but it could be just about any neighborhood.

Lovely. For some reason the bits of tan cloud remind me of the remains of fireworks. I love how they hold a shape for a while as they drift away. These, though, look a little more like sulfur–maybe from a factory nearby. or maybe my monitor is sorely in need of upgrading.
This could as well be the sky I saw on my bike ride home last night. Truly breathtaking, Elizabeth!
