you can put three or four 16 penny nails in a coke bottle, point side down, shake the bottle a few times–and the bottom will drop out clean as a round lens.

I’d watch a youtube video of you doing that, Daryl.
Also, I think I like this video because of the reaction setups. Hi-5s, “hey, i’m in here!” and “I was just THINKING about that song!”

I never saw any tricks like this, or like what Daryl describes, but then I was working for a woman-owned, non-union company, and I think the carpenters were on salary, not hourly. Results not typical, as the ads say.

Legit video. Worked construction with my old man for years and saw trim carpenters able to do things like this. Frame carpenters can hold 20′ of tape up in the air for minutes at a time.

This explains why it costs so much to get a house built. Also, this does look a bit fixed, but I can tell you from construction work in my early years that some amazing things can be done with tools when supervision is slack and you’re paid by the hour. Nailguns for instance. The crew I worked with all got pretty good at nailgun “darts.” You hold the push-tip back with one hand and fire away at a wall on the other side of the house. Help me out here, India.
