Lucy, thank you for the introduction. I especially liked one of the comments in response to the interview; it was the one about “sliding off the earth”. It is something that struck me immediately in the photographs I’ve looked at so far, and strange as it seems, it feels similar to what I experience in my favorite empty places in the American West and in a few locales here in the Driftless Region. And now in Brooklyn.
