Every now and again, it is brought to my attention

that a great stumbling block to general recognition of my value to society and culture is that I fail to recognize the importance of being earnest.

    I live with Dorian Gray.

    (But it was someone and something else prompted my observation. Apparently the Whitney Biennial is no laughing matter.)

    Just for the record, Dorian Gray Syndrome is not recognized in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV).

    Cindy, I confess I am lazy. Instead of using the yarrow stalk method, I invariably resort to the coin method when consulting DSMV-IV. I miss much thereby.
