FOR THE RECORD:

In some editions of Sunday’s Section A, an article about Sarah Palin’s speech to the National Tea Party Convention quoted her as saying, “How’s that hopey, changing stuff working out for you?” She said, “How’s that hopey, changey stuff working out for you?”

I guess she doesn’t have any need for hope or change. Hate and easily rallied stupidity has always been enough for her.

Years back there was a snarky correction along these lines, but I forget who the candidate was. Since I don’t remember, I’ll use Palin:

“A story on page 19A of Monday’s edition incorrectly referred to Sarah Palin as a “presidential contender”. The sentence should have referred to her as a “presidential hopeful”. We regret the error.”

Thought she said “Hopi Cheney stuf”
