When I first started watching it I thought Yeah yeah yeah, okay...but then I started to get a feel for what he is saying--and "getting a feel for it" is a central concept here. It's like machines without the machines. It's technology stripped to the mind / body relation rather than the mind / body / machine / mind / body relation. I like seeing the projected interfaces of watch on wrist, calculator on palm, film with sound on a piece of paper. But naturally, I also then thought of Tony Oursler's video sculptures: moving and speaking faces projected onto blank dolls. Maybe the next step is customizable sex dolls. Maybe sell the whole package and call it Seeherdoher. Okay I'm just saying this is what the guy in the clip might want to develop.... Thanks, Andrew, this is great.
