Scientists have identified areas of the brain that, when damaged, lead to greater spirituality. The findings hint at the roots of spiritual and religious attitudes, the researchers say.
New research has found that spirituality has a greater effect on the sex lives of young adults — especially women — than religion, impulsivity, or alcohol.

“For women, however, spirituality was the strongest predictor for the number of sexual partners, the frequency of sex, and the tendency to have sex without a condom.” This confirms an irony I have observed–which I refer to as “Christian tits”: I often see young women who wear very low-cut shirts to reveal acres of cleavage–decorated with a large cross on a necklace.
