A reading

For the first time in 19 or 20 years (as well as I can remember), I will be doing a reading: some poetry, some fiction, maybe even a look at the graphic novel, at South Texas College in McAllen, Texas, next Tuesday at 4 p.m. Y’all fly on down and join the crowd.

Renner, that’s great — except for the date. I plan to return to Texas (Dallas and Galveston) in a couple of weeks, and if my stay coincided with your reading, you know I’d drive through the abismo to be there.

Is there such a thing as an extended run for literary readings?

You think I’ll be held over by popular demand? Hehehe.

Good deal, Coop. Read’em the one about trying to piss on the bluffs of hell.

Very cool! Wish I could. Maybe you could have someone shoot video and youtube it for us?

Oh man, I wish I could be there.

Wish I could go, but I’m saving all my pennies for a flight to Denver.

Damn, a few weeks earlier and I could have been the foreigner in the audience!

What would be especially cool: psychic readings conducted after the literary reading (for a nominal fee). Swami Renner sees all, knows all.
