Daryl, Daryl, Daryl. Just because you have recently learned–through an extended didactic session–that white is the proper color of duct tape for an 85-year-old white French door, that does not make it the correct color choice for everything.
That said, I’ve decided that Deron should change into the white socks. Because it’s springlike outside today.
The only time I don’t wear white socks is when I’m wearing shoes that I polish when I wear, and those live in their box on a high shelf. I’d wear fewer white socks except that they don’t make men’s rainbow-striped toe socks.
Any color, as long as they’re good material and not those thin old guy socks.
Okay, not beige. Never beige. But any other color. Colors, even.
Soft and Cotton. Rainbow stripes for all I care, but casual. If you wanted you could match your pants.
all I have is white or black.
today I am wearing black.
Are they cotton or wool? Or are they nylon or polyester?
I would have gone with white.
Go and buy a pair in a blurry blue-and-taupe pattern suggestive of a Whistler nocturne.
White or black, eh? Honey, put on a pair of Amy’s tights.
Let’s send Deron some socks.
I think they’re a blend.
Sweetheart, just rifle through Amy’s tights and find something nice till we send you some pretty socks.
Aw and here I was hoping you’d have on purple socks like Mike.

Socks?
“The rule” is that socks should be coordinated with your pants.
That said, I have a similar color scheme and mine match my shoes. But for me matching socks is considered a pretty big victory.
Plain – always plain, I prefer thick. If they are not visible then you’re okay, but, if you can see ‘em you best ask Amy.
Argyle! Any color combination will do. Jazz it up, man!
white
Daryl, I feel that if you wear white socks Cindy will hang you up by your balls or feed you to the pigs!
too late for that
Okay I’m going for a haircut and some white duck (sic) tape.

whiteout
I would never feed a person to pigs. That would be wrong.
Perhaps feed a person pig?
No, I would not do that, either.
Hanging someone by his balls, though, strikes me as an act within the realm of reasonable possibility, under the right circumstances.
Socks and pants should match (in tone). Don’t ask me, ask Andy.

Go for black socks, and never (i said nver) wear white socks.
There’s a sock rule?

I’d actually recommend these socks.
Lime green
Dave, I’m gonna make it my business to source those socks for you and if I can’t then I’ll make ‘em!
