thank you, India.
Book ordered. Thank you, India.
Thank you, India. Cindy and I will be ordering a copy.
We already did.
Oh, and thank you, India. I can’t wait to see you in Colorado!
Excellent. I’m glad y’all are ordering it.
O/R is a bold new publisher with interesting plans, some of which you can hear about in this talk between Colin Robinson of O/R, Richard Nash of Cursor, and I-don’t-know-his-name of Melville House, part of Melville House’s charmingly named “Publishing in the Age of Blah Blah Blah” series.
[Full disclosure: Colin (the "R" in O/R) is a friend, and John Oakes (the "O") is a former client, somewhat indirectly.]
Cindy, I got to see India yesterday. We had motherfucker with Kelsey, Amanda Mae and Andrew.

You are one lucky man, Michael. Where did you go for motherfucker? What did you eat? What did you talk about? Did you take any pictures? Huh? Huh?
We went to Fox and Goose Public House. I ordered the Welsh Rarebit Omlet (as did Andrew and Amanda Mae) and a couple of Old Speckled Hens. Pictures were taken but in my rush to leave my house I left my camera so the pictures were taken by others.
On that note, I feel that I did not give India a proper goodbye. For some reason when we parted ways I did not completely understand I wouldn’t be seeing her again. So, India, it was nice to have had the opportunity to speak with you in person. Let’s do it again in May.
Oh Michael–that Old Speckled Hen is my favorite beer. I need to go get some.
As I said yesterday, “…and it has a kick-ass name.” Perfect for motherfucker.
thank you.
I’m not going to report you to Judy Baxter or anything, but in the spirit of motherfucker, did you guys at least clean out a fridge?
We were the last people to leave the pub.
Yes, Michael, I, too, thought I would have a chance to say goodbye to you before departing Sacramento. So: Goodbye! So nice to meet you in person! Thanks for having motherfucker with us!
Cindy, I took some pictures, but there are more than a thousand on my camera right now, so dog only knows when I’ll get around to posting them. Maybe in time for CFstock 2.0?
I love hearing Gordon’s voice again. It commands attention, don’t it? What a man with stories that command attention.
My copy’s on the way, how could I resist?
