   The sock(s) — or the ominous shadow? I can’t keep my eyes off that shadow. What the hell’d you have in your right hand, boy?

   The sock is more Bridget Riley, Big Blue (1981-82) than it is a Whistler Nocturne (circa 1872-1877), but it is neither white nor black. I approve (guardedly).

   I initially thought you had just come off of Chatroulette and still had a tool in your hand.

   As for the socks, I feel you are on the cusp here and you can just get away with wearing them. Perhaps see them as a trend towards plain.
