Lucy. At first I was skeptical of this, then I started to like it, and by the end I was very pleased that you gave me the chance to see it. Thank you.
Isn’t it great? What made you sceptical?
Autotune really turns me off, so when I began to watch it I was a bit dubious myself. But it’s done in enthusiasm rather than irony, and I love the passion and aliveness of the spirit of these guys.
You said it, Lucy. I love these people featured in it, and I guess when I first started watching it I thought it might be making a joke of their fine thoughts, and then I thought it might be a little too New Age–but then I saw that the rhythm of it all was part of the rise toward a kind of secular reverence it generates.
It makes my bosom heave, dude.
