The warehouse and production workers in Denmark are rebelling against [Carlsberg's] new alcohol policy, which allows them to drink beer only during lunch hours in the canteen. Previously, they could help themselves to beer throughout the day, from coolers placed around the work sites.
The only restriction was “that you could not be drunk at work. It was up to each and everyone to be responsible,” company spokesman Jens Bekke said.
On the other hand, Carlsberg’s truckers are exempt from the rule.

During Wednesday’s 90-minute flight, the plane completed a series of turns by gently tilting its black-and-white wings, which are as wide as those of a 747 jumbo jet. I was just thinking about how the numbers being discussed here are dual numbers–and that a person might think of them as a thing owned and then suddenly feel like a person is looking over his or her shoulder. And then I started to think about figures of speech and whole numbers (!); metaphor is, metaphorically, sexual–two unlikely things meet, turn about and blend, making something that stays in mind even though original identity is still there. Everything slips toward allusion or it dies.
