   But not a lick a sense. Took up wif an ole boah name a Buda over in muhayuh county. Sold a paintin’, left her by her daddy after he past, in a yardsale, outside the house trailer she was shacked up in out offa Quarter Round Road, for a dollar. She din’t know, ’til it was told in the Sunday paper wif a pitcher of it, it were worth a lot more.

   I use Nelda Bacon grease for biscuits. Makes all the difference.

   Well Nelda Bacon swamped my boat. She can wear some things when she gets off. One time at the carnival outside the Tyler rose show? I punched the guy who guessed her wait wrong and she told me she likes her filet mignon with bacon wrapped all around it.

   Nelda Bacon was a way worse slut than me but it was me got called names on account of she had the name, if you see where I’m going. Nobody ever promised me a rose garden, but there was none of that that even come close to fair. I can’t say I’m sorry for what happened to her and be telling the truth.
