Derek, thank you. I was hoping to see your spinal, tattoos fascinate me. I think Im starting to understand thoughtful tattooings. I could tell why, but I’m typing from the iPad again. Oh, funk it, my first thoughts along this line began when a young man came in to apply for a summer job landscaping. He was wearingnlong pants and sleeves when he came by on a hot day, filled out his application. It occurred to me later, his dressing that day. when I brought him back to talk with the managers he would be working with, dressed again “covered” as he, we, waited for the managers to come in, I asked, “so how tattooed are you?” He said, “I have two “sleeves” and a calf and my chest. About forty hours of work. I got my first tattoo and a bug bit me,” he said. He said, “I keep them covered up to keep the sun off them.”
I, saw him later, once or twice with a tank top and shorts on, indoors working. His skin was as white as white can be, the colors of the tattoos, brilliant. Of course, I couldn’t stare, but I so wanted to “read” him, to get a good look at every image.

I can’t imagine he didn’t relish every occasion, out of the sun, where he could show them off.
