It’s a good thing Cindy added a clusterflock ‘vomit’ category,
as this morning I coughed so hard I vomited.
And first I typed “coughed so hjard I vomitred”. I don’t know what language that is.

If you were a dog you’d go right ahead and eat that back up!
Jesus. Are you OK, Sheila?
And, vomitred is an excellent word, whatever language it is.
Vomitred sounds like a poorly named pharmaceutical preperation.
I hope our friend in the Driftless is feeling better.
Or even some kind of surgical appliance! Some sort of catch-all for collecting vomit – or perhaps a cleaning solution for vomit you have stepped into the carpet!
I was thinking of it as a verb:
“I had to vomitred through my living room after the party last night.”
“hjard” works too. It has a little spill in it.
I’m pretty sure hjard is Norwiggan.
I’ll run it through google translate.
The question is, Does one pronounce ‘vomitred’ as though it were a variant of ‘mitre’ or as ‘vomit-red’?
I opt for the first version.
You could even give the initial V a little puff, as though you were speaking German. Fo-mitre.
google translate suggests so hjard I vomitred.
Oh, and I’m fine, y’all. Honest. It’s just that I looked at the video (“Out of a Rainbow”) featuring the Olympic mascots and got laughing, then barking and coughing, then vomitring.
If I were Phil, though, I would just move directly to the vomitring out of sheer embarrassment for England.
Sheila, was it anything like this?
A bit, although I did not vomitre on a politician.
hjard is definitely Finnish. That sauna guy probably vomitred pretty hjard after he ran out.
Now don’t get me laughing again, Dave.
Advice from one who is prone to altitude sickness: “Don’t push yourselves too hjard on your first day in Silverthorne. And take it easy on the booze. You don’t want to get a sick headache and then vomitre up Danny’s lovely biscuits.”
