For the record, I live in the tip of the shadow of the tallest peak. Where everyone swears you should live in San Francisco is the peak itself. Despite (or because of) the fact that it’s where all the unfriendly, ennui-drowning hipsters live. So really, if you move to San Francisco, remember that shadow.
