Bravo!
Mille grazie.
I’ll try, if i don’t get distracted by the portal to Ed Sullivan’s head i found in our Polish Vampire ark. I’ll need a few days of mourning to recover from Ghana’s loss last night though. My heart has been wrenched out.
… & also still reeling over this. & last night we saw Star Wars in Italian. Chewbaca is my hero in any language.
In my Topo Gigio research i’ve discovered a few strange things. First there is no wiki page for his creator, Maria Perego.
& also this: “Argentine footballer Carlos Tevez claimed that his goal celebrations were to honour Topo Gigio after Manchester City’s 2-1 win over his former club and fierce rivals Manchester United in the Carling Cup semi-final first leg 2009/10 season. Tevez claimed that his Argentine team mate Juan Roman Riquelme also honours Topo Gigio with his goal celebrations.”
So maybe watching Tevez in today’s game will lead me to Topo’s head.
Wow. Great Post Title, Sheila! It makes me think of Warren Oates. Which reminds me of the cocktail I invented in his name: Gin & Tonic with a splash of lemon juice with a slice of cucumber. Named for Warren Oates after his character in Two Lane Blacktop. secret code name for your decoder: (GT Special)
Warren Oates is my new cocktail.
Alas. No goals for Topo Gigio.
Yeah, tell me about it. I drunk myself further & further into a stupor watching it (in a bar with the most blue & white jerseys) now i think i want to kill myself so maybe my own head can qualify.
