Welcome to Brand-Garland.com. In keeping with our desire to be transparent to Garland residents, we have established this site to keep people up-to-date regarding the brand renewal process currently underway. We encourage you to check back from time to time to receive the latest information, and to contribute ideas and recommendations to our brand consultant.
Garland is not one entity – it’s many communities and contains “something for everyone.”
Garland is a large city with a small town feel.
The city government was portrayed as forward-looking and business-friendly.
Two-thirds of respondents boasted Garland is a “great place to raise a family.”
Many feel Garland is poised to attract new businesses, especially in the high-tech sector.
Garland is a hidden brand, not only among outsiders, but even among insiders.
Nearly all feel that the outside world (the Metroplex) has a generally negative and distorted view of Garland, e.g., Zombieland: “I’m in Garland Texas, and it may look like Zombies destroyed it, but that’s just Garland.”
