I’m smaller than that now.

Sheila, is that you (little you)??

So cute, and look at your hair–was it blond or red?

Was this the house your mom and dad lived in all their (adult) lives?

Missing you; hope you’re doing okay.

Baby me! Blond me. And that’s the very house, all right.

    This is lovely, Sheila.

Why, thank you, Phil. (People, Phil and Deron and CIndy have each been in this very room,)

Do you remember those flush-fit light fixtures from a slightly earlier time that looked like heavy glass jello molds? I love to see them in old houses. This one you have pictured here takes me back too. Some of them started looking more and more UFO right after Sputnik and the Jetsons.

1954. Dallas tornado, 1957. It’s all going on still back there–if you are a few trillion miles away looking back at it.

Fantastic! What a curious look you have on your face. I love picures like this. Unposed, strong dad from the back holding onto little baby daughter. They say so much. SO much.

Yep. That picture pretty much says it all.
