If I ever had trepidations about taking a cruise, (I am more afraid of having to interact with some Griswolds.) I have them now. Shades of The Poseidon Adventure.
I still cry when I watch “The Titanic.” The part where the musicians play on deck while the ship goes down gets me every single time. That cannot even be on TV when I need to be at my best.
A bit of hyperbole, of course, but you get my drift.
Oh, I remember back before the Chunnel Jon and I were on the ferry from Calais to Dover and the wind was howling and the water was spraying and he said, “Go up on deck and stand there just a while and think about the Titanic.”
Brilliant and hilarious post, Luke (especially the title).
So: is there anyone among us who can arrange a clustercruise charter deal?
Not naming names.
Brilliant.

Yeesh.
Cece, your drift is perfect.
I’ve crossed the Atlantic twice on a cruise ship. I like it.
No Griswolds, Cooper?
