Just stop running

If you’re familiar with this song you don’t have to listen to it, unless you just want to. I have a question that pertains to it. Go ahead and listen if you don’t know it, I’ll wait.

All set? Awesome. Why do the riders keep on riding? They are evidently aware that they will never catch the Devil’s herd.

Durn, Dave. Durn. This is just almost too good to bear. I will have to tell you (and other ‘flockers) my childhood friend’s non-anecdotal recollection of a train ride through the King Ranch in south Texas when she was a little girl. Ghost riders in the sky.

This is a durn good post, Dave.

Clippity, Cloppity, Clippity, Cloppity. Clip, Clop…Clop.

    Clop.

    Thank you, Dave.

Dave, I don’t have to give you an answer tonight, do I? Thought not. Good question, though.

offer: ghost riders in the sky

I don’t know what you call them…demented, obsessed, stupid. But it’s a a whatchamacallit? a posse of ghosts riding horses…in the sky…chasing some “devil” herd of cattle. Cattle not included. Someone please take them.
